Black nano ferric tetroxide is a mixed valence oxide of iron, melting point is 1597ºC, insoluble in water, soluble in acid solution. It
has an anti-corrosion effect, such as the bluing of steel parts (also known as burning blue and baking blue) is to use the oxidation
of alkaline oxidizing solution to form a layer of blue-black or dark blue Fe3O4 film on the surface of steel parts to increase corrosion
resistance, luster and beauty.
