2-HEMA is mainly used for resin and paint modification. Copolymerized with other acrylic monomers, the resulting resin may contain active hydroxyl groups. React with melamine formaldehyde (or urea-formaldehyde) resin, epoxy resin, etc., for the manufacture of two-component coatings. Add to the high-end car paint, can maintain the mirror luster for a long time. It can also be used as adhesive for synthetic textile and medical polymer monomer.
